Molly Norris has some new drawings up at Marni Muir Gallery. I really like the ones she's been posting to Facebook lately.

Panda by Jeffry Mitchell & Tivon Rice

Henry Art Gallery's Sylvia Wolf has organized a cool photography exhibit from the permanent collection. The title is Inside-Out: Portrait Photographs from the Permanent Collection and features Imogen Cunningham, Patrick Faigenbaum, Nan Goldin, Frank A. Rinehart, Marsha Burns, Benjamin J. Falk, Samuel Montague Fassett, Jim Goldberg, David Octavius Hill, Robert Adamson, Deborah Luster, Fred E. Miller, Nicholas Nixon, Aleksandr Rodchenko and Andy Warhol. Sylvia also organized a show of Mapplethorpe polaroids for the Whitney Museum that will be coming to the Henry this fall. Panda, by Jeffry Mitchell and Tivon Rice, also opens up tonight. There will be live music by Melodius Thunk (performing jazz standards).

Opening tomorrow:

suddenly: seattle is kicking off with a dinner with Thomas Sieverts by Occidental Park.
Land/Structure/Impact, Matthew Olds and Heather Joy,  heads back home to the island. Opening reception at VALISE Gallery on Vashon Island this Friday from 6 - 9pm. 

It's going to be a gorgeous day and a perfect evening for an art walk.
