Artist Salon 7 - recap

Artist Katy Stone

Katy Stone ended the Artist Salon series on a high note last night. Exploring themes of chance, poetry and multiples, we spent a couple of hours last night just making art around a table.

To get our creativity going, Katy led us on a few "exquisite corpse" type poetry exercises. Then we pulled out craypas and pens and went to work on the tracing paper creating layered pieces.

I'm sure going to miss these salons, but I have a feeling there will still be one from time to time. It's just so nice to gather with other people and make art. Thanks to all the artists who generously donated their time and to everyone who showed up to have some fun. Special to thanks to Francisco Guerrero and Seattle University for giving me a space to hold them in.
